Smilers Farm has been our home and work place for over 42 years, in that time we have kept a vast array of wonderful animals from Highland cattle to Chickens to Wallabies to Emu’s, Monkey’s and birds of prey!
The Farm also operated as a livery yard for scores of privately owned horses for years and is still home to handful of horses now.
Luxury dog boarding was originally the idea of my wife, Tracey opened the first luxury boarding kennels exclusively for small dogs several years ago and stuck rigidly to her plan to create a home from home for the dogs she looks after, her business is very popular with a loyal following from all over the country, many of her customers have larger dogs and so Essex luxury dog boarding at Smilers Farm was born to cater for bigger dogs.
We have stuck with the idea of creating a home from home as people care as much about their big dogs as they do about any other. The Farm has lots of space for walking and exercising and has a very relaxed Mediterranean feel to it with olive trees and planted areas. The suits where the dogs stay are fantastically spacious and at the very least all have tiled floors, secure inside and an outside area, raised areas for sleeping comfortably & heating; some have even more features like TV’s.
